Business Administration (B.A.)


Program Description:

Business Administration is a degree program that continues to be in demand by employers who are looking for people who can help organizations achieve their goals in today’s new global society.  At NLU, business courses are taught by faculty members who have experience in small and large companies—and who know what it takes to be successful in today’s competitive marketplace.


How You Will Learn:

Business Administration is taught at  NLU campuses.  It can also be taught where you work or in an off-campus location convenient for you. NLU is nationally ranked by U.S. News and World Report for offering small classes.  Nearly all of your classes will have a maximum enrollment of 20.

What You Will Learn:

  • How to analyze and understand the role played by ethics, consumers and international business issues in today’s marketplace.
  • How to identify and achieve effective business writing practices.
  • How to use your knowledge of accounting, financial and budgeting concepts.
  • How to use and conduct research for decision-making.
  • How to apply best management practices.

At NLU’s Illinois campuses in Chicago, Elgin, Lisle, Skokie (North Shore) and Wheeling; on site and at partnering colleges: College of DuPage & College of Lake County University Center.
