THE OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS & RECORDS

Welcome to the Office of Admissions & Records at National-Louis University. Thank you for visiting us via the world wide web.  Please note: NLU has provided you with an NLU ID which is located in your secure account at my.nl.edu.  For your protection and rather than using your Social Security Number, it is expected that you will have this number available when you correspond with us.  Please email us here if you have any questions about the ID Conversion.

Since our founding in 1886 as the National College of Education, NLU has grown to provide distinctive and innovative programs in education, management & business, and the liberal arts to thousands of students on our ten physical campuses - and in cyberspace - each year.

My staff and I are privileged to support NLU’s educational mission by maintaining all students’ academic records in accordance with the 1974 Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. In addition, the Admissions & Records Office administers applications for admission, registration and veterans’ benefits, produces official academic transcripts, provides enrollment and degree verification services and graduation audits, evaluates transfer credit and publishes the official university schedules and catalog for each of NLU’s campuses and academic centers. Our goal is to provide our students, faculty, and alumni with excellent service.

We wish you success in your educational endeavors.

Sincerely,
Signature
Ken J. Gilson
Director of Admissions & Records
