Management (M.S.M)

Program Description:

You CAN learn how to be a more productive and effective manager—and acquire the interpersonal expertise you need to move into leadership roles in your organization. The NLU graduate program in Management is designed for those of you who are currently in managerial positions as well as for other experienced professionals who want to sharpen your skills. You’ll get a broad understanding of topics ranging from group dynamics to effective communication.

How You Will Learn:

The NLU graduate program in Management is taught online and also using a cohort model, which means you will go through the program with the same group of 12-20 students. NLU graduates like the cohort model because of the support and friendships provided by their fellow students throughout the program.

What You Will Learn:

  • How organizational culture impacts productivity.
  • How to enhance your management and leadership abilities.
  • How to strengthen your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • How to develop, implement and evaluate organization-wide strategies.
  • How to apply leadership theory in the workplace.
  • How ethical issues impact the organization.

Where You Can Take the Program:

Online, at NLU Illinois campuses in Chicago, Elgin, Lisle, Skokie (North Shore) and Wheeling, and at the NLU Florida campus. On partnering military bases, and off campus in selected locations.
