PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT

 

In the years prior to joining NLU as a full-time assistantprofessor in 1986, I have taught elementary and high school. I have also heldvarious administrative positions and have served as a department chair for 10years. At NLU, I teach qualitative and quantitative research courses, as wellas courses on action research and assessment. I also serve as the AdjunctLiaison and publish twice a year a newsletter for adjuncts titled TheAdjunct Connection. I had been active as an Executive Board Member andPresident of the NCE Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa. I have also been active as anofficer and Board member of other professional organizations. My areas ofinterest are practitioner action research and school-university collaboration.
