Entrance Requirements
Students must submit the following:
- Completed application
- Scores from the Miller Analogies Test or the Graduate Record Examination taken within the last five years
- Three letters of recommendation (one must be from an academic)
- Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts
Applications are received and reviewed on an on-going basis.
Time Limit and Retention Policies
The Educational Specialist degree must be completed within a six-year time limit. Students receiving two C's or lower in any of the program courses are dropped from the program. The student's adviser is responsible for monitoring academic progress.
Exit Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of course work necessary to meet the Educational Leadership Department's requirements for the Type 75 General Administrative and General Supervisory Certificate.
- Satisfactory completion of all required and elective courses in the Educational Specialist program.
- Satisfactory completion of the internship.
