• Dr. Peter Levine is scheduled to present his paper "Nationalism and Cosmopolitanism" at the International Society for the Study of European Ideas, Aberystwyth, Wales, July 22-27, 2002. Dr. Levine will also present "The Language of Politics" at International Society of Political Psychology, Berlin, Germany, July 16-19, 2002, and "Globalism, Sovereignty, and Foreign Intervention" at the International Studies Association, Brugge, Belgium, July 5-6, 2002.
  
  
• Dr. Costas Spirou was named Visiting Scholar at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. He was awarded a NEH Seminar position at the Chicago Historical Society and his paper "Revamped Stadium…New Neighborhood?" appeared in the Urban Affairs Review, May 2002.
  
  
• Dr. Andrew Wilson had his paper "Doing Business: The Clinton Administration's Economic Support for the Belfast Agreement, 1994-2000" accepted for publication in the Journal of Conflict Studies. The paper will appear in the Fall 2002 issue of the journal. Dr. Wilson is completing a book on the Clinton administration and the Northern Ireland peace process. The book will be published by the University of Notre Dame Press.
