Language Assessments for Non-Native Speakers of English

If you are a non-native speaker of English, the Admissions office will require you to take either the TOEFL or  the Language Assessment Test through the Department of Language Studies. The Language Assessment Test consists of two parts. The first part is an interview that lasts 15-20 minutes- both Undergraduate and Graduate applicants have this interview. The second part of the assessment is the written portion. For undergraduate applicants, the written portion lasts 40 minutes. For graduate applicants, the written portion lasts one hour.

Below are the assessment dates taking place for Summer and Fall 2009. Please contact Lilian for the most up-to-date schedule:

Thursday, June 23rd                    11am-1pm AND 4-6pm       

Thursday, September 3rd           11am-1pm AND 4-6pm  

All Language Assessments are held on National-Louis University's Chicago Campus, located at 122 S. Michigan Ave in Chicago, IL 60603. If you cannot make it to the Chicago Campus, please contact Lilian Santowski at 312-261-3356 or at lilian.santowski@nl.edu  to work out other arrangements.
