The Importance of Technological Literacy in the 21st Century

ACLE places great value on technology.  Our cohorts are, therefore, generally blended (60% online and 40% face-to-face) or entirely online, though we do not rule out the option of a completely face-to-face cohort occurring if there are enough interested students on one campus site.  Even so, technology and the changes it is making/will make on adult and literacy education are emphasized.  We believe that the very foundations of our current times have been affected by an electronic revolution.  We prepare our students to deal with the profound changes that have taken place so that they will be ready to train, teach, and mentor adults in this technological age.
