My name is Theresa Caron, I was born in Chicago and raised in the northwest suburbs. I am 37 years old, married and have two sons and a daughter. I attended under graduate school at Elmhurst College where I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Psychology in May, 1982 and worked at Edward Hines, Jr. V.A. Hospital and Loyola University Medical Center. During my tenure (1982-1991) at these two institutions I worked in orthopedic and peripheral vascular surgery; research and development and culminated my tenure as a medical advisor and liaison to the Medical Service for the Medical Director of the V.A. Hospital. I attended National-Louis University from 1988-90 and acquired a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Development. I relocated to Los Angeles, California late January, 1991 where I work as an administrator and educator for the Department of Veteran Affairs at the West L.A. V.A. Medical Center. In June, 1994 we relocated back to the Chicago area and currently reside in Hinsdale. Currently, I am on sabbatical leave from the Department of Veteran Affairs; due to the down sizing activity in the Federal Government at my time of transfer.
