Michele Bracy is a positive woman of action with a passion for promoting personal achievement. Her journey began in a loving home in Detroit, Michigan. Her supportive family and strong drive to succeed lead to the triumphant completion of her B.S. degree from Michigan State University. Following a collage of work experiences, including management, teaching and sales, Michele realized she was hiding her light from the world. Knowing she had a wonderful gift to share, she moved to Chicago in search of dynamic opportunities to unleash her potential.

Chicago brought insightful experiences and wonderful relationships that sparked a wealth of self-discovery. She earned her M.S. degree in Human Services - Counseling from National-Louis University. Her work in the program confirmed her belief that individuals can indeed facilitate monumental change in their lives. She currently works with adults in pursuit of higher education at NLU. Through personal interviews and group presentations, she delivers inspirational messages of possibility to adults seeking to fulfill their academic goals.

Michele recognizes the potential for greatness in others and strives to facilitate positive action towards personal achievement. Through sincere interest and enthusiastic support, Michele educates adults in the fine art of advancing themselves.

The one thing that excites her most about engaging in doctorate work is the opportunity to emerge transformed - into an agent of powerful change committed to uplifting service to others.

Poetry is my favorite way to express my innermost thoughts. These words flowed through me as I fantasized about entering the doctorate program. :)

Emerging Woman

Head up high, confident and strong
A twinkle in my eye as I sing a new song

Obedience, shame and fear are no more
Now the freedom, self love and courage will soar

The beautiful, vibrant, true side of me
Is the wonderful woman I hoped I would be

Out of my shell, I'll lift up and fly
My self-doubt low and my self-esteem high

Warming cold hearts with bright shining rays
touching closed minds with pioneering ways

Unpeeled and exposed I emerge anew
Liberty and truth in all that I do
