Jane Walsh began her professional career as a technical illustrator and graphic artist with interests in environmental education and the visual arts. In her late twenties, she began an intensive exploration of the core values that were guiding her life--an exploration which ultimately led to the redirection of her career into the field of Jewish Education. Since the early 1980's she has been involved in learning, teaching, planning, and advocating for Jewish learning in synagogue schools, colleges, and Jewish community planning and funding agencies in many cities of the United States and in Jerusalem. Her practice and interest in adult education has been primarily as a teacher educator and as a teacher of Jewish texts and ideas to adults.
