Thank You Letter

Thank You Letter

After the interview, follow up with a thank you letter. Send the letter as soon as possible, addressed to the person who interviewed you. Type it in the same format you would use for a business letter, and make sure it is on good quality paper. As a reminder, always send a Thank you letter to every person with whom you interviewed.

The contents of the letter should begin with a reminder of the position you interviewed for and the date. It should restate your interest in the position, with emphasis on any facts that you found especially interesting or closely related to your past experience. If you wish to clarify anything stated in the interview, now is the time to do that as well. Close the letter by thanking the interviewer again for his or her time.
