What is The Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund provides essential flexible resources to meet the University's areas of greatest need. It is the means by which NLU alumni, students, parents and friends can most effectively support higher education and student life.
What do Gifts to the Annual Fund Support?
Every gift, large and small, is important to the University. And, it is the combination of these funds that make a significant difference. Funds are used for:
Scholarships and financial aid, which allow deserving students to continue their studies.
Attracting and retaining world-class faculty for each college on each of the eleven campuses throughout the United States and Europe.
Creating new and innovative curricula like FOCUS, our degree completion program for returning adult students.
Maintaining and upgrading our classrooms and laboratories and equipping them with state-of-the-art tecnology to maximize our students' learning experience.
Gift Types
Each year, National-Louis alumni, parents, and friends provide the University with much-needed financial assistance through outright gifts of cash, securities, or other property. Outright gifts have an immediate impact and are used to support the current needs of our schools and colleges.

Matching Gifts – Make Your Gift Go Farther
Matching Gifts are a simple way to increase the amount of your gift at no cost to you. Double or even triple your gift’s impact! A Matching Gift Program is company-sponsored and allows you to increase the value of your gift. More than 1,000 companies offer some level of corporate match for the employee’s philanthropic interest. If you or your spouse work for a company that participates in a Matching Gift Program, the company will match your donation to National-Louis. Contact your Human Resources for a matching gift form; complete the donor portion, and forward it to us and we’ll do the rest.
